OK, I should just admit I’m not on a diet! However I weighed myself this morning anyway and to my suprise had lost almost 1/2 a kilo overnight must be doing something right…
Weight: 92.6kg (0.4kg loss since yesterday, 1.2kg since the beginning)
I will try to have some more soup today as a couple of bowls of that seems to kick start my body into losing weight (probably helps that is fills you up with practically no calories so you don’t eat other stuff), and not worry too much about the rest.
Will also continue to snack on fruit or veg, and maybe break out the wii fit. I have some pilates and yoga DVDs I could do but need to locate the DVD player first.
Last time my endocrinologist took a pint of blood to check my sugar, and vitamins, and a bunch of other stuff before I get pregnant again I asked her to check if my chicken pox vaccine had worked as well.
My mother thought that I had chicken pox when I was little, but when I was pregnant with BabyBug they did the routine screening and it came back negative for chicken pox antibodies. This meant that I needed to keep away from little children while I was preggers, as it can cause birth defects not to mention getting it as an adult can be very ugly and you end up with shingles at the very least. So when BabyBug was a couple of months old I went to get the adult vaccine, 2 shots six weeks apart – and then I forgot about it until now.
It turned out that it hadn’t taken so I need to get another shot, and test again. I finally got off my arse and got it today. I signed up for the swine flu shot while I was there, so that is next monday.
My Doc also gave me the form to take a blood test in a months time, to see if the chicken pox shot has worked this time. I got him to put on the form to check and see if my Hep AB vaccine as worked yet as well, I have done the full course (3 shots) -tested neg, plus a booster -tested neg again, plus another booster last year. Hopefully that has worked now as well, otherwise more needles.
I used to have a huge needle phobia, then I got pregnant and became a pin cushion -mostly taking blood out rather than putting stuff in, but a jab none the less.
And…. I have been really bad about my diet today, so soup and veg for dinner tonight!
