Diet Day 2: Sunday

Weight: 93kg (no weight loss from previous day, total weight loss 0.8kg)

So, soup and veg today.

Breakfast: Carrot, baked bean and cheeseĀ toasted sandwich (not really on the diet)

Lunch: Pasta with mince and pumpkin

Snacks: celery with peanut butter. Dark chocolate and Ginger

Dinner: broccoli, cauliflower, mashed potato, sweet potato, chicken fingers.

I guess soup and veg went out the window today.

However I did cut up some celery and carrot into sticks for quick easy snacking, and put them in jars of water in the fridge to keep them fresh and crisp, that should help for when the snacking urge comes out – now it is easy to find and grab something healthy.

I also made some Almond butter for BabyBug since he can’t have peanuts, by grinding up some almonds and mixing the meal with some olive oil to get that smooth spreadable consistancy. Will try giving it to him on toast tomorrow for breakfast.

  1. Slow and steady does it . Weight loss may take a while to show up, particularly if you’re drinking a lot more water in the current heat.

    Can BabyBug have macadamia nuts? They may make an easier butter than almonds.

  2. Hmm, hadn’t thought of macadamia nuts, but they would be better as they are oiler. Must try him on them and see. He loves pistasio nuts.
